The OTC Music Series showcases local and national musical artists, offering quality concert entertainment to residents and tourists in North San Diego County. The Music Series includes three to four concerts a year, featuring jazz, classical, blues, country, American roots music and rock and roll.
Concert goers are invited to arrive early for Happy Hour featuring snacks, drink specials and pre-show entertainment in the theatre lobby. As always, The Gallery at the Brooks offers an additional, visual sensory experience for show patrons.

Nick Schnebelen has quickly built a reputation as killer lead guitar player and impassioned vocalist. As founding member of the award-winning, popular family band, Trampled Under Foot, Nick has traveled the world playing festivals including Notodden and Montreal, and as fan favorites on the annual Legendary Blues Cruise. Today Nick’s raw blues-energy guitar and vocals are backed by a hot rock ‘n’ blues band.
Backwater Blues Band has opened shows for many top artists including John Lee Hooker, Delbert McClinton, Fabulous T-Birds, Coco Montoya, Tommy Castro, and Tower of Power. Tommy Stewart, funding member and band leader has performed with some of the best blues artists from around the world including Tommy Castro, Los Lobos, Coco Montoya, Mighty Mike Schermer, Zach Harmon, and Elvin Bishop.
Taking influence from early rock and roll bands such as the Doors, MC5, and Jefferson Airplane, the Surrealistics brings in blistering blues guitar licks with searing organ textures. Combined with a driving rhythm and haunting soulful vocals, the Surrealistics has identified a dynamic sonic soundscape that is heavy, bluesy, and electrically driving.

Rio Peligroso is a live rock-country-honky tonk jukebox, blending 70s SoCal country rock (Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers), classic rock (Stones, Neil Young), traditional country (Willie, Merle), indie/alt rock (R.E.M., Camper Van Beethoven), alt country (Son Volt, Wilco), oldies (Buddy Holly, Johnny Burnett Trio), and more. A Roadhouse Band for Discriminating Dirtbags, San Diego-based Rio Peligroso mix deep cuts with left-of-center favorites.
Opening act by singer-songwriter Francis Blume whose influences include Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Marty Robbins, The Beatles, and Arcade Fire. “Blume’s rich vocals and bluesy, rock and roll approach harken back to the sound styles from the late 50s to the late 60s, where an emphasis on unclouded storylines allow for open interpretation and emotional messages to be applicable” (Amadeus Magazine).
