Summer Theatre Arts Youth Camp
For Ages 7 – 17

NOTE: The safety and health of our performers is our top priority.
OTC is implementing strict COVID protocols to ensure the theater space, the Camp staff,
and the productions are following all CDC, state and local mandates.
This has required some changes in our usual Summer Theatre Camp format.

This year, for our Broadway By the Beach Summer Camp, we are offering two 2-week camps! Campers registered in both camps receive a 10% discount.

CAMP A – Broadway Heroes and Villains

  • LIMIT OF 30 CAMPERS
  • Camp begins Monday, 6/21 from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday
  • Camp culminates with two performances, Friday 7/2 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday 7/3 at 7:30 pm.
  • The Show will be a Broadway cabaret of singing, dancing, poetry, acting skits, and more!

CAMP B – Traveling Down Broadway

  • LIMIT OF 30 CAMPERS
  • Camp begins Monday, 7/5 from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday
  • Camp culminates with two performances, Friday 7/16 at 7:30 pm, and Saturday 7/17 at 7:30 pm. (Strike after the show)
  • A whole new show celebrating Broadway favorites through the years with singing, acting, poetry, dancing, and so much more!

Camp Registration and Fees

CAMP A:   $350 per camper ($300 each for siblings)

CAMP B:   $350 per camper ($300 each for siblings)

BOTH CAMPS:  $630 per camper ($600 per sibling camper)

In the event that Summer Camp must be cancelled due to a change in Covid restrictions, tuition will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.

Broadway By the Beach CAMP T-SHIRT    $5 each (required for cabaret)

Academy Staff

SHARON DUCHI – Director / Musical Director
Sharon has a Masters in Education from Old Dominion University. She was the Artistic Director of Act One Community Theater in Temecula for over ten years, and has directed, musically directed, and produced numerous award-winning productions, including Shrek, RENT, and Little Women the Musical. Youth Theater was a regular component of the theater’s annual productions. Miss Sharon has enjoyed performing in many theater venues and vocal groups. Some of her favorite roles include Sr. Hubert (Nunsense), The Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing…), and Joanne (Company).

ANNA DUCHI – Director / Co-Choreographer
Anna has served as Director and Choreographer for OTC’s Youth Outreach Program in Spring 2019 and Fall 2019. She has a degree from Humboldt State University in Theatre Arts and Dance and worked on numerous Youth Theater productions at the Act One Community Theater in Temecula. Her experience includes serving as Choreographer for Jefferson Middle School, performing at SeaWorld San Diego, and performing at Legoland in Carlsbad. She was most recently seen onstage in OTC’s Sweet Charity.

JAMIE GALLAGHER – Co-Choreographer
Since the age of four Jamie has received dance training in styles including tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical modern, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. Jamie danced with Temecula Valley Dance Academy (formerly Temecula Valley Cathy’s Dance) until the age of 18. She competed with her studio for seven years, receiving overall and platinum awards at various competitions. Jamie has been teaching different styles of dance for eight years. After graduating high school, she found a passion in theater and began performing in productions; some of her favorites being West Side Story, A Christmas Carol, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, and A Chorus Line. With this passion in theater and dance, Jamie was given an opportunity to choreograph Thoroughly Modern Millie (2018), and since then has choregraphed other productions including James and the Giant Peach Jr., West Side Story, Godspell, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. While performing and choreographing shows Jamie has received her Associates in Dance and Business Administration and is working towards more experience in the theater world. Jamie believes that with passion and a full heart any one can accomplish any dream that he or she has.
