Six String Society presents “Like a Rolling Stone”


Like a Rolling Stone is the ultimate Rolling Stones tribute, bringing together two of San Diego’s most respected bands — Custard Pie and The Brian Jones Rock ’n’ Roll Revival. This unique production blends storytelling and music, with each band delivering a powerful 60-minute set packed with the Stones’ greatest hits.

Da Bear Nation Comedy Night


Join the Da Bear Nation for a night of some of the best comedians out of the Chicago area, flying in for a special night to raise funds for the YMCA Adventure Guides.

Acts include:  CJ Sullivan, Nick Vatterott, and Sean Flannery

“Coco” Film Screening


In celebration of Día de los Muertos, Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) will host a special screening of Disney Pixar’s Coco at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater. Following the screening, audiences are invited to stay for a post-show talkback with actor and cultural consultant Herbert Sigüenza, who voiced the characters Tío Felipe and Tío Óscar and helped shape the film’s cultural authenticity. 

Movie Description:
Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Rated PG.

Halloween (2018) Film Screening


In celebration of Halloween, OTC at the Brooks will host a special screening of Halloween (2018) at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater. Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode in her final confrontation with Michael Myers (Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney), the masked figure who has haunted her for four decades. Rated R.

Guests are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy a free small popcorn (or upgrade to a large for $2).

“Sinners” Film Screening


From Ryan Coogler – director of “Black Panther” and “Creed” – and starring Michael B. Jordan, comes a new vision of fear: “Sinners.” Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. Movin’ Merrily Right Along: A Christmas Tribute to Jim Henson


The Holidays are here! So time to play the music and light the lights!

Join Musical Theatre Composer & Performer Tyler Tafolla and some of SoCal’s most sensational, Muppetational performers & puppeteers as they celebrate the Holidays and the work of Jim Henson. In this one night only concert, you’ll hear those classic Holiday songs you know & love from The Muppets, Sesame Street and many more! It will be a night of holiday cheer, laughter and of course, puppets! An evening you won’t forget! Featuring performances from Shaun Conde, Gio Aparicio & Cameron Blankenship. As well as a virtual performance from Jordan Brownlee.

Then comes Terminal—a high-stakes journey that begins in tragedy and unfolds into something both cathartic and unexpectedly hilarious. Please note: Terminal covers some topics that touch on deeper emotional themes, ranging from sorrow to joy.

Together, these shows push beyond traditional improv, blending raw emotion with sharp humor to reveal powerful human stories—created entirely in the moment.
