Sounds of Laurel Canyon – Back to the Garden (3 pm show)

During the late 1960s and early 70s, a collection of talented musicians colonized a eucalyptus-scented canyon deep in the Hollywood Hills to create folk, rock and American Pop music in a sound that captured the hearts of the music world. Come see Back to the Garden recreate the music and stories of many of these famous bands including The Byrds, The Doors, Carole King, Jackson Brown, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Joni Mitchell, the Eagles, the Mamas and the Papas and music from Woodstock and the Last Waltz.
Members of this All Star band include Cactus Jim Soldi, Marc Intravalia, Rick Nash, Larry Grano, and Sharon Whyte. Also, featured in this very special story concert is Robert John Hughes as storyteller along with Calman Hart and Danielle Tucker.
Please note, we are doing 2 shows at 3 PM & 7 PM and this is a reserved seating show, so the sooner you purchase the better your seats.

Footloose The Musical – Sunday Matinee

When Ren and his mother move from Chicago to a small farming town, he is prepared for the adjustment period at his new high school. But he is not prepared for the rigorous laws and edicts, including a ban on dancing instituted by the local preacher who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth. When the reverend’s rebellious daughter sets her sights on Ren, her roughneck boyfriend tries to sabotage Ren’s reputation, with many of the locals eager to believe the worst about the new kid. The heartfelt story that emerges pins a father longing for the son he lost against a young man aching for the father who walked out on him and his mother. Set to the rocking rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.

Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical – Preview Night

The West Coast Premiere of Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical written by Jonathan Hogue and directed by Kevin “Blax” Burroughs offers a hilarious, fun-filled romp into the supernatural world of the Netflix hit, Stranger Things October 4 through October 20. Set in the otherwise sleepy town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 80s, the parody embraces the nostalgia for days when kids were left free to wander around unsupervised – in this case into portals to a hellish upside down world. Featuring songs about how to get the girl, being the third wheel, and adventures, this show is wonderfully silly with a few inter-dimensional battles and singing demogorgons along the way.
