
Vinyasa Yoga Classes

A vinyasa yoga class that flows from one posture to another at a mindful pace. The primary focus of this class is to strengthen technique and alignment. Building from the ground up, this class was created to strengthen your foundation and give you all the right tools to take your practice to the next level!
Instructor: Beatrice Crosbie
A Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Beatrice began her yoga journey in 2009. Since then, she has been a student in many cities and countries around the world, including the Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India. She decided to deepen her practice and expand into teaching in 2018 with her RYT 200hr at Yoga One in Downtown San Diego. Beatrice focuses on the connection between breath and movement, cultivating higher body awareness and presence. She provides space for playful exploration of the poses, while encouraging the letting go of perfection.

Senior Dance Movement

Get your body moving and grooving! Enjoy this upbeat class of gentle stretching, balance, and you guessed it- dancing it out. Inspired by dance genres of musical theatre and classic jazz, this class will start your day with a smile.
Instructor: Beatrice Crosbie
Beatrice Crosbie (she/her) is a performer and vocal coach, recently returned to San Diego from NYC. Proud alumn of UCLA’s Musical Theatre undergrad, some of Bea’s favorite credits are 1st International Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Wardrobe/Mrs Potts us), National Tour of 42nd Street (Diane Lorimer/Dorothy Brock us) and Dr Suess’ Grinch (Grandma Who). Beatrice is passionate about passing on original choreography from some of Broadway’s most iconic shows and exploring the endless possibilities of the voice. Improv Classes
First and Third Tuesdays

Join in on the fun with improv classes taught by Chicago-trained improv teacher, Chris Shurland! Improv classes meet the FIRST and THIRD TUESDAY of every month at 7 pm in Studio 219 of the Brooks Theater. The first class is free. After that, classes are $10. Reserve your spot or drop-in. (Please note, there will be only one class in April on April 4.
Instructor: Chris Shurland
Chris Shurland, the founder of Santa Barbara’s Irreverent Improv, is a Chicago-trained improv teacher and performer currently based in Southern California. Before being a part of several house and independent teams in Chicago, Shurland completed the training programs at Second City, iO (formerly ImprovOlympic), and Annoyance Theater and was lucky enough to be trained by some of the nation’s best improv teachers.
