Interim Marketing and Strategy Coordinator
Approximately 20–25 hours per week
Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) is seeking an organized, creative, and collaborative marketing professional to serve as our Interim Marketing & Strategy Coordinator during a staff maternity leave.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys planning marketing campaigns, writing compelling content, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with a creative team to promote professional theatre, youth programming, and community events.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate marketing campaigns for MainStage productions, Youth Academy programs, special events, and rentals
- Develop and maintain the organization’s marketing calendar, campaign timelines, and project schedules
- Write marketing copy for email campaigns, press releases, website content, and promotional materials
- Manage email marketing campaigns and audience communications through Constant Contact
- Maintain community calendar listings and public event information
- Coordinate media outreach and public relations efforts
- Monitor campaign performance and marketing analytics
- Collaborate with the Artistic Director and Director of Operations to support organizational marketing goals
- Coordinate creative projects and collaborate with the Interim Digital Media & Graphic Designer to ensure marketing campaigns are completed on schedule and aligned with OTC’s brand standards
Qualifications:
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Experience coordinating marketing campaigns and managing multiple deadlines
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or a comparable platform
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Experience in nonprofit arts, live entertainment, or event marketing is a plus
- Passion for the performing arts and community engagement is encouraged
Position Type: Temporary Part-Time (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Start Date: As early as August 10, 2026
End Date: Approximately end of November/early December
Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week
Location: Oceanside, California
Compensation: $22-25/hr depending on experience

Interim Digital Media & Graphic Designer (Part-Time)
Approximately 10–15 hours per week
Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) is seeking a creative, detail-oriented designer to serve as our Interim Digital Media & Graphic Designer during a staff maternity leave.
This position focuses on producing engaging visual content and marketing materials that support OTC’s MainStage productions, Youth Academy programs, special events, rentals, and community outreach. The ideal candidate enjoys bringing marketing campaigns to life through thoughtful design, digital media, and visual storytelling.
This position is anticipated to continue through the duration of the maternity leave, with the potential for future employment opportunities based on organizational needs and performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design print and digital marketing materials for productions, programs, events, and rentals
- Create graphics, reels, videos, and visual content for social media platforms
- Schedule and publish content across OTC’s social media platforms in accordance with the approved marketing calendar
- Produce short-form promotional videos and other digital media
- Update website graphics and visual content
- Design and maintain promotional materials including light boxes, marquee graphics, lobby signage, sandwich boards, and digital lobby displays
- Create and update promotional content for lobby television screens
- Prepare marketing materials and displays for community outreach events and promotional booths
- Prepare production-ready artwork for print and digital distribution
- Collaborate with the Interim Marketing Strategy & Communications Coordinator to execute marketing campaigns and maintain OTC’s visual brand standards
Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design and digital content creation
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design software
- Experience creating graphics, social media content, reels, and short-form video
- Experience scheduling and publishing content through social media management platforms such as Meta Business Suite or similar
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines
- Photography, video editing, website, or WordPress experience is a plus
- Experience in nonprofit arts, live entertainment, or event marketing is a plus
- Passion for the performing arts and community engagement is encouraged
