North County’s home for improv, Improv at the Brooks offers drop-in classes, multi-week courses, single-day workshops, and monthly improv shows. Designed for a variety of levels, the classes help students unleash their inner creativity in a fun, supportive environment with the opportunity to engage with experts and other learners. Classes meet in Studio 219 next to the main theater.

Thanks to the generous support of the City of Oceanside, our incredible donors, and our dedicated community, we’re thrilled to announce that Phase 1 of our long-anticipated theater renovation began on January 6, 2026!
From January through March 2026, our bathrooms and Studio 219 will be under construction as we work to enhance your theater experience. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these exciting improvements.
