And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

Oceanside Theatre Company’s Youth Academy returns this fall from September 3 to November 17 at the Brooks Theater for rehearsals for “The Addams Family.” Students ages 10-19 are invited to hone their acting, dancing and singing skills in this three-month musical theatre program. The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story in which Gomez Addams is forced to keep the secret from his wife about his daughter Wednesday, the princess of darkness, dating a regular guy.
