Discover the joy of instantly inhabiting a fully realized character! This 4-week intensive is designed for improvisers ready to amp up their character game. Through fun and engaging exercises, you’ll learn advanced techniques to snap into characters quickly and convincingly and have a blast along the way!
Prerequisite: Minimum equivalent of completion of a Level 2 improv class and comfort navigating 2-person scenes.

Let your imagination go as you design costumes and props for Seussical, the Summer Camp musical. And thatâs not all! Youâll learn about set design so you can create an actorâs âworldâ on stage â anything from a castle dungeon to a classroom in the year 2099. Lighting design will let you light up the stage or pick out a single face in the crowd. I canât wait to teach you the amazing world of theater design! Design Camp will fill each day with fun, ideas, designing, and discovery.

Ready to let go, connect, and unleash your creativity? Join us for a fun journey of laughter, spontaneity and endless possibilities as we explore the fundamentals of improv in a supportive environment. Students will learn the fundamentals of improv through a series of engaging exercises, games, and scene work as each week builds on what was learned the previous week. We will focus on building trust, sharpening listening skills, gaining confidence to think creatively in the moment, the concept of Yes AndâŚ, and so much more. Not only will you have a ton of fun, you will build self-confidence, soft business skills, and meet new people! Taught by Stacey Willard.

Improv at the Brooks presents Amazing Incredible Tales, a fully improvised, HIGHLY interactive live superhero comic book made up on the spot based on audience suggestions from start to finish.
NCIS: North County Improv Squad presents a fun night of improv comedy similar to what you would see on “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Everything is made up completely on the spot based on audience suggestions. It is a truly fun way to spend your evening. PG13
Comedians Brendan Fitzgibbons (Comedy Central) and Ryan Conner (Last Comic Standing) welcome LA’s best stand-up comics down to Oceanside to help the LA relief efforts! The show will feature a mix of comedians from Comedy Central, The Onion, Netflix, Late Nite with Stephen Colbert and Hulu. Come laugh for a great cause! Proceeds from the show will go to benefit LA Legion Worker Relief Fund.
Mixed Nuts is an improv jam where, very similar to an open mic, improvisers of ALL levels can come together, randomly be placed on teams, and perform for each other in an extremely supportive environment. We will start off with some short-form improv games and move on to put everybody on one-night-only long form teams. Join us to do some play, connect with other improvisers, and have FUN!
Mixed Nuts is an improv jam where, very similar to an open mic, improvisers of ALL levels can come together, randomly be placed on teams, and perform for each other in an extremely supportive environment.
