NCIS: North County Improv Squad presents a fun night of improv comedy similar to what you would see on “Whose Line is it Anyway?” Everything is made up completely on the spot based on audience suggestions. It is a truly fun way to spend your evening. PG13

Have you always wanted to tap dance? In our Tap Workshop, taught by Lindy Lyon, we will work on the fundamentals of tap dance in the feet and in the body. Each week, students will build on the skills learned the previous week as we broaden our step vocabulary. Students will also learn about major figures and influences in tap dance history. Students will hone their tap skills with an emphasis on musicality, technique, and playfulness as they learn a dance. The Adult Tap Workshop is a great opportunity for beginners and returning tap dancers alike.
Class Session: Jan. 7th, 2025 – Feb. 11th, 2025, every Tuesday, 9:30 am – 11:00 am
$110 for six sessions minimum 8 students, 12 maximum

Join us for a frightfully fun evening of improv comedy as Improv at the Brooks presents its annual Halloween Spooktacular. North County Improv Squad (NCIS) will give you a night full of high-energy laughs as they perform games rarely seen on stage, plus a special improvised spooky story. This year’s Spooktacular will benefit Project Athena Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping survivors of major medical setbacks live out their adventurous dreams. It is a fun, silly night not to be missed!
Generally PG-13, but the performers will adapt if kids present.

From exploring diverse improv forms to developing skills needed for seamless teamwork, this class will elevate your improv to new heights. Dive deeper into the art of improvisation and create genuine moments of connection and laughter. Students will perform in a class show upon completion of the course. [prerequisite: Must have completed at least 2 levels of an improv program at any theater. Instructed by Chris Shurland.
