A haunting adaptation of Stephen King’s classic tale, Carrie follows a desperate teenage outcast bullied at school and dominated at home by a devout, controlling mother. When Carrie discovers she possesses terrifying telekinetic powers, the pressure builds to a moment of devastating release.
Set in modern-day Chamberlain, Maine, this version of Carrie features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen, music by Oscar-winner Michael Gore, and lyrics by Academy Award-winner Dean Pitchford. The 2012 Off-Broadway revival, which reimagined the piece with a leaner, more emotionally grounded script, won the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical Revival.
Powerful. Terrifying. Cathartic. Carrie: The Musical will be a dark, unforgettable semi-immersive experience!
