Arguably the most influential surfboard shaper of the 1960s and 1970s, Dick Brewer has often been called the father of the modern-day surfboard. Directed and edited with the skill of a lifelong cinematographer Bob Campi, this biopic captures the rise, fall, and ultimate redemption of visionary who changed the world of surfing forever, a trailblazer throughout his career. The filmmakers tell his story with phenomenal cinematography and archival footage coupled with a retro soundtrack, that will take you back to the era where surfers and board designers redefined what riding a wave could be.
