This upscale housewarming celebration and fundraiser supports OTCâs year-round operations, including professional productions, youth theatre education, apprenticeship opportunities, and community engagement initiatives.
Enjoy cocktails, hors dâoeuvres, live entertainment, and an evening celebrating 15 years of Oceanside Theatre Company. OTC will also present the 2026 Hattie âSunshineâ Brooks Award to Alyssa âAJâ and Toni Junious, co-founders of Soultry Sisters, recognizing their contributions to Oceansideâs arts community.
The evening will feature a curated silent auction, live experience auction, Housewarming Giving Wall, and other opportunities to support OTC.

Courageous Women in a Man’s World: Exploring Historical Stories of Defiance, Perseverance and Power
Join historical fiction authors Jill G. Hall, Elizabeth St.John, and Janell Strube at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater (217 N. Coast Highway, Oceanside, CA) for an engaging conversation about the remarkable women who inspired their novels. From peace activists and Civil War spies to artists who defied convention during the French Revolution, these extraordinary women challenged expectations and changed history.
Moderated by Porsche Locker, co-host of Coastal Crimes and media personality, the discussion will explore the real-life heroines who inspired the authorsâ work. Following the program, guests are invited to meet the authors during a book signing. At 11:30 am, join the authors for a VIP High Tea gathering in Studio 219 with a suggested donation of $25 per person, benefiting Oceanside Theatre Company.

By 20, he was performing in Las Vegas and soon after touring internationally, bringing his mesmerizing act to China, Trinidad, Japan, Mexico, and Europe. Mark has not only wowed global audiences but also collaborated with David Copperfield on Project Magic, a program that uses magic as a therapeutic tool for individuals with disabilities. His impressive client list includes IBM, Universal Studios, ABC, and Paramount Plus, and his illusions have entertained A-list celebrities like Sylvester Stallone, Steven Spielberg, John Travolta, and Eddie Murphy. Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) is excited to honor Christopher and Tracy Williams with the third annual Kathy Brombacher Lifetime Theatre Achievement Award and Colleen O’Harra with the second annual Hattie âSunshineâ Brooks Award for elevating and enhancing the arts in Oceanside, California. The awards presentation will take place during Oceanside Theatre Companyâs 2025 Gala Celebration âGarden Party Galaâ on Sunday, September 21, 2025 from 3 to 6 pm at El Corazon Senior Center (3480 Village Commercial Drive, Oceanside, CA 92056.) The event will also include entertainment, refreshments, a silent auction and a live auction.

Join us for a frightfully fun evening of improv comedy as Improv at the Brooks presents its annual Halloween Spooktacular. North County Improv Squad (NCIS) will give you a night full of high-energy laughs as they perform games rarely seen on stage, plus a special improvised spooky story. This year’s Spooktacular will benefit Project Athena Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to helping survivors of major medical setbacks live out their adventurous dreams. It is a fun, silly night not to be missed!

Join OTC, Cultura Coffee and MadStrange for an afternoon of art, culture, and community. The Raza Art Exhibit 2nd Annual Fundraising event for Kicks for Kids will showcase the diversity and importance of artistic expression in Chicano Culture through poetry, visual art, dance, and music. All proceeds from this event will directly support Cultura Coffee’s annual Kicks for Kids shoe distribution initiative, dedicated to providing essential footwear for our Oceanside youth. Tickets $10.
