The Six String Society’s Celestial Sirens production is ready to dazzle Oceanside on Sept. 7 with several of San Diego’s most celebrated performers! This eclectic show, set in a “Living Room,” mixes some playful theater along with music ranging from soul, blues, and jazz all hosted by Sir Robert Parker. As the show unfolds, each of the Sirens take the stage to perform their own unique style of music featuring the electric Whitney Shay, (a four-time San Diego Music Award winner and Performer of the Year in 2019) who will light up the night’s sky with her powerful, soulful voice and her fun loving personality. We are also very excited to bring in San Diego Jazz icon Rebecca Jade making her long awaited Six String Society debut. For years she has toured the world with international stars including Sheila E, Dave Koz, and Elton John, but on Sept. 7th she will share the stage with Whitney and Taryn for the very first time! Over the years Jade has won multiple San Diego Music Awards including ‘Song of the Year’ in 2021 and Performer of the Year in 2020! Also, in the mix will be two-time San Diego Music Award winner Taryn Donath! She’s a true force on piano ranging from jazz to soul! Talk about a show stopper! nd like all Six String Society productions there will be other special guests along with their collaborative All Star jam in the show’s finale. No two shows are ever the same, and this is one clearly not to be missed!

Returning off last year’s exciting sellout salute to Tom Petty at the OTC, the Rolling Heartbreakers will be performing two classic iconic albums from both the Rolling Stones and Tom Petty in their entirety. The show will feature the Stones’ Let It Bleed (1969) and Tom Petty’s Full Moon Fever (1989), along with other selections from each band. As with last year’s show, this performance will be accompanied by a full background visual presentation to enhance the experience. The world’s number one Elton John tribute band are coming to play All The Hits by Elton John. The spectacular show includes Bennie and the Jets, Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man, Candle In The Wind, Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, I’m Still Standing, Crocodile Rock and Your Song. They will also be performing classic album tracks like Funeral For A Friend/Love Lies Bleeding from Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, the multi-platinum double LP released in 1973. Tom Cridland, playing the part of Elton John on lead vocals and piano, is close friends with Elton John drummer, Nigel Olsson, has recorded songs and episodes of his Greatest Music of All Time Podcast with Elton John guitarist, Davey Johnstone… and has even met Sir Elton himself, the man who Tom credits with helping him recover from alcoholism. The level of attention to detail in recreating the music and fabulous costumes of Elton John & His Band is simply unparalleled.
Get ready for an encore performance of the recently sold out show celebrating the fabled songwriting and musical career of Neil Diamond, with additional songs and stories focusing on his breakthrough “Hot August Nights” concert and album. Come see Back to the Garden recreate the music and stories of many of these famous bands including The Byrds, The Doors, CArole King, Jackson Brown, Crosby Stills Nash & YOung, Joni Mitchell, the Eagles, the Mamas and the Papas and music from Woodstock and the Last Waltz.
Members of this All Star band include Cactus Jim Soldi, Marc Intravalia, Rick Nash, Larry Grano, and Sharon Whyte. Also, featured in this very special story concert is Robert John Hughes as storyteller along with Calman Hart and Danielle Tucker.
